Volunteers
Get Involved
Please check out the Ministries Page under the Get Connected tab. This page lists the many Ministries of the parish and ways you can become involved. You can also offer your services with your particular talents by stopping in the parish office and visiting with the receptionist.
Volunteers at the church and in the diocese are required to participate in the SAFE Environment Training.
SAFE Environment Training
The mission of SAFE Environment Training is to prevent sexual, physical or emotional abuse and/or neglect of children and young people through continued education, building awareness, and maintaining a commitment to keeping all children and young people safe. Different training sessions for parents, youth and those serving in ministries are available. Class descriptions, requirement and registration are available.
The Diocese of Phoenix provides the training with a one-time three-hour class and then yearly renewals online. Go to this page to set up an account and to the bottom of this page for Instructions for first-time users and renewing volunteers.
“Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8)
